Senior Client Account Manager
Tapestry is a marketing agency that delivers data insight and marketing strategy through customer understanding. We provide small to medium sized multi-channel retailers with the tools and strategies to accelerate growth and increase profitability. We help recruit new customers and make customers more loyal through new marketing channels, improved performance of existing channels or both.
We are channel and media neutral; everything may be pulled into play to maximise marketing budgets. We optimise across the channels based on data insight; channels such as catalogue, inserts, off the page, email, social media, mobile, display, paid and social search, search engine optimisation, influencers, content, TV, outdoors, door drop, point of sale and more.
This is a new role within a small, expanding and ambitious agency, with a chance to evolve and grow in-line with the business. We are working with some exciting clients, many of whom are in high growth and channel extension phase.
Working alongside our Client Services Director, you will own a group of client accounts and manage the client relationships to deliver a joined up cross channel marketing strategy. You will take pride in delivering consistently high quality, valuable work and the best possible service.
You'll need to be good with people, inquisitive about your client’s business, enjoy diving into customer analysis to derive insight and be passionate for your client to succeed. You will put your clients are the centre of everything you do, and we expect them to see you as one of their marketing team. You won’t have sales targets; your focus will be on developing great relationships with our clients and delivering a strong service and value that helps our clients achieve their growth goals. A key measure of your success will be that you deliver campaigns on time, on budget and on brief and your clients are delighted with what you help them achieve.
You’ll need to be highly organized because day to day you will brief our marketing strategists, campaign planners, analysts and database builders to deliver multiple marketing campaigns to tight deadlines. You will set agendas for weekly calls, monthly meetings, write up the actions and keep everyone on track with deliverables. You will be the first port of call for clients to ask questions and it will be down to you to source timely answers. You will work closely with third party suppliers on campaign execution and will need to ensure that they deliver quality work to the deadlines required.
You will be supported by our team to enhance marketing performance and efficiency for your clients. You will structure data, offer and creative tests for learning across the marketing channels, some online but most offline. You will show your clients the impact of the testing by interpreting the match back and attribution analysis created by our analysts.
We work in a collaborative way so while you will be the relationship owner, we wrap a whole team around our clients. As is typical in a start-up environment, a ‘can-do’ mentality is a prerequisite, prioritising quality and delivery together with a willingness to “muck-in”. The pace can be challenging with no room for passengers. A feature of this role is the meeting of many product, marketing and production deadlines.
Desired Skills and Experience:
An expert in delivering a data driven marketing strategy within a business where the role of the direct channel is key, preferably a multi-channel retail business.
Experienced in direct response campaign strategy, execution & measurement (preferably both on and offline)

Highly organized, detailed, self-motivated and a multi tasker that can prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
Great interpersonal skills, be confident at building relationships with key stakeholders at all levels and able to present to teams, including board members.
Minimum of 2 years’ marketing experience in a direct, business to consumer environment
Educated to degree level
Commercial mind-set. Flexible and willing to muck-in. Creative flair.
Candidates should be proficient in Microsoft Office applications; especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Report to Client Services Director

Initially this role will be working from home with frequent working sessions with the Founders. This level of remote working requires high levels of self-organisation and the ability to work on complex and ever changing priorities with limited direction.
There will be regular UK wide travel to client and colleague meetings and events, with the occasional overnight away necessary for clients in the more difficult to reach parts of the country.
The role will become office based in London within 6-9 months.
